General Meeting of Shareholders and Briefings on FinancialResultsAkebono holds an annual briefing on financial results at theGeneral Meeting of Shareholders once a year while holdingsimilar briefings for security analysts and institutional investorstwice a year. At the General Meeting of Shareholders, ourperformance forecasts, business strategies and midtermbusiness plans are also disclosed. For shareholders who areunable to attend General Meeting of Shareholders, we introducedthe electronic voting system. (Voting rights exercisedthrough this system accounted for 20% at fiscal 2012.)In addition, in fiscal 2012 Akebono invited security analystsand institutional investors to tour Akebono BrakeYamagata ManufacturingCo., Ltd. (YamagataManufacturing), whileholding corporate briefingsat other locationsin Japan for individualinvestors.Plant tour at Yamagata ManufacturingEnhancing Information Disclosed OnlineMaterials used at the aforementioned briefings are postedon our website along with our financial results and factsheets.
