To celebrate this milestone,Akebono is planning to hold an 85th anniversary ceremony in November 2014. Preparations for theceremony involve the entire Akebono Group, and a project team was launched in August 2013 tospearhead the event. During a dialogue session, the 10 project team members, who represent departmentsand bases from throughout the Group, shared their perspectives on the significance of the 85th anniversaryas well as how they themselves had grown over the course of the project and their visions of the future asthey look toward the Company’s centennial.
