My current work
The main task is to solve vibration and noise problems generated by brakes. Since this is a specialized field, a wide range of knowledge about vibration is required to understand the phenomena and solve the issues. Although not many days have passed since I was assigned to my current department, there is something new to learn every day. I feel that I am growing both personally and professionally by gaining new knowledge, skills, and experience.
There are also times when I am able to utilize the knowledge of mechanical experiments that I gained during my previous work, and I find it rewarding to see my skills expand as an experimental engineer. I think this is one of the most attractive aspects of Akebono, as there are many different types of roles within the development department. This allows me to gain diverse experience while maintaining a strong connection to the technological development of brakes.
My future ideals
As an experimental engineer with expertise, I strive to become someone who is relied upon by other departments.
My message to students in the middle of job hunting
Job hunting may be challenging, but I believe it is one of the major turning points in your life. Please take your time and move at your own pace without rushing.
What’s important is to think carefully about how you want to grow and the kind of environment you want to work in.
Of course, the content of your work is important, but work-life balance and the workplace atmosphere are also crucial factors to consider when choosing a job.
I emphasized these points during my job-hunting process and decided to join Akebono because I felt it was a good fit for me.
First of all, please explore many companies and find an environment that suits you. I would be happy if you became interested in Akebono and found an opportunity to work with us.
