English version of our Environmental and Social Report 2008 now available

From September 23, 2008 an English version of our Environmental and Social Report 2008 is available at the CSR / Environment section of our website.
Akebono is releasing Environmental and Social Reports in Japanese since 2003. Consequently, the Japanese version of our Environmental and Social Report 2008 has been distributed to shareholders at our Annual General Shareholders' Meeting at the Royal Park Hotel in Tokyo on June 19 this year. Furthermore, to enable all our stakeholders to get a better understanding of our various activities in the fields of environment, society and business it was decided to release an English version starting this year. Please note that the English version is a digest of the Japanese and is only available at our website. We welcome a frank exchange of views with you and are looking forward to your comments.
