Akebono at the 40th Tokyo Motor Show

Akebono Brake has a booth at the 40th Tokyo Motor Show being held at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture. The event is open to the general public from October 27 to November 11. Under the concept of "Fusion of High-performance and Design," the exhibition features a number of high-performance brake innovations. These include the Japan premiere of F1 brake calipers being supplied to the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team, a 12-POT caliper with two disc rotors (concept model) for a unique approach to enhancing braking performance, and a concept brake system on a premium sports bike (by Italian manufacturer Bimota), with a one piston, one brake pad structure that offers a balance between high-performance and stability. Akebono's booth is located along the center passage in the North Hall.
