Regarding the Results of Consultation on the Robert Bosch's Brake Business
TOKYO — Akebono Brake Industry Co., Ltd. has conducted due diligence and necessary negotiations for potential business transfer of the Robert Bosch GmbH ‘s (Headquarters: Stuttgart, Germany) foundation brake business in Europe, Asia, Australia, and Latin America, as we disclosed on November 12, 2010.
During the course of due diligence, we found that there exist certain aspects which would not match our future business strategies. For these reasons, we have decided not to proceed with this project any further at this time.
