Vodafone McLaren Mercedes F1 team driver Jenson Button, supplied with Akebono brake systems, won in the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit on September 2nd at the Formula One 2012 Belgium Grand Prix. He demonstrated unrivaled speed in both the qualifying and final races, winning his second victory since the season opening. Lewis Hamilton unwillingly retired from this race when he was involved in a multi-machine crash early on. With the 25 points added in the Belgium Grand Prix, the team's point total now stands at 218, keeping them at 2nd rank this season.
