2012 MFJ All Japan Road Race Championship Series Round Seven: Supplied with Akebono brake system, Ryuichi Kiyonari Takes 2nd place in MuSASHi RT HARC-Pro

Round seven of the MFJ All Japan Road Race Championship Series for the JSB1000 class was held on September 9th at Autopolis Circuit in Oita prefecture, Japan. Ryuichi Kiyonari, MuSAHi RT HARC-Pro, supplied with an Akebono brake system, finished 2nd.

Kiyonari, who is in the Asia Road Racing Championship this season, went in for Takumi Takahashi, the main rider for MuSASHiRT HARC Pro, who retired from the race due to a fall during the test run on September 5th. Kiyonari started the final race from the 3rd position. He overtook Kousuke Akiyoshi, F.C.C. TSR Honda, at the 1st corner in the last lap to finish 2nd.

Kiyonari commented, "I stood in for Takahashi due to his accidental injury. I clung to the lead but I couldn't reach Nakasuga, whose qualifying result was excellent. I regret the race itself. However, I am grateful that I finished second as a stand-in. I hope Takahashi will come back in good condition in the next round."

The round eight will be held from October 6th to 7th in Okayama International Circuit in Okayama prefecture.
