Announcement Regarding Telecommuting Measures to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19
In response to the spread of COVID-19 in Japan, Akebono Brake Industry Co., Ltd. (the "Company") has been implementing preventative measures such as the promotion of telecommuting (working from home) and other work style reforms for employees. However, given the recent increase in transmission of the virus, the Company announces a strengthening of these measures as follows.
Implementation Period
August 16 to August 31 (Subject to extension if required)
Measures
- Employees working at the Company's Global Head Office in Tokyo must, in principle, telecommute.
- Employees working at Ai-City (Headquarters) in Hanyu City, Saitama Prefecture will telecommute where possible, with an overall target of 70% telecommuting rate.
