Announcement Regarding Extension of Telecommuting Measures to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19
As announced on August 18, Akebono Brake Industry Co., Ltd. (the "Company") has been implementing preventative measures such as the promotion of telecommuting (working from home) and other work style reforms for employees in response to the spread of COVID-19 in Japan. The Company hereby announces an extension to the implementation period of these measures as follows.
Implementation Period
The original implementation period from August 16 to August 31 has been extended to September 12 (subject to extension if required).
Measures
- Employees working at the Company's Global Head Office in Tokyo must, in principle, telecommute.
- Employees working at Ai-City (Headquarters) in Hanyu City, Saitama Prefecture will telecommute where possible, with an overall target of 70% telecommuting rate.
