The Akebono Group considers its employees to be a vital asset and positions the maintenance and promotion of the health of its employees and their families as a key management issue. The Group is actively promoting various measures that contribute to health promotion, and in recognition of these efforts, Akebono has been certified as a corporation with outstanding health management for the 8th consecutive year.

The Akebono Group's Health Management is built upon three pillars: workstyle reform, the promotion of both physical and mental health, and increased health awareness. From FY2023 through FY2025, Akebono is carrying out initiatives based around the 6 themes of "Measures to prevent mental health issues caused by changes in work environment," "Effective and innovative health guidance," "Improve utilization of stress check results," "Enhanced approach towards employees stationed overseas and at Japanese sales offices," "Further expansion of health education," and "Continued response towards helping people stop smoking," including activities such as implementing health guidance for all employees stationed overseas (including plants) or working at the Japanese sales offices, and making mental health selfcare training compulsory in Japan. The company continues to work as one with all employees and executives to promote health.
The Akebono Group will continue to promote Health Management to create a work environment where all employees can continue to develop in good mental and physical health in pursuit of leading fulfilling lives.
